Well, that was a seriously rough week.
As you know, I was sick. And I hate to admit it, but I’m pretty sure I had influenza.
I also really hate to admit that my husband told me 2 weeks prior to getting sick that I should really get a flu shot. I was stubborn, and he was right (<–ouch). I do get hugs from 50 kids each week, so really I should have known better.
The point here really is that I’m feeling a ton better. I still have a cough, which will probably linger for a while, but I have energy again and can breathe well! That’s always a good thing, huh? :)
Clearly my workouts suffered this week because of being sick…but I did what I could and today I even tried running. One stinkin’ week off and today’s run was terribly difficult. Regardless, it felt so good to sweat and I’ve been reminded of the blessing it is to be able-bodied and have the opportunity to work out. It’s sadly just so easy to take advantage of my good health.
I’m excited to get back at it this coming week!
