October Sunrise

by Danica on October 11, 2013

A typical start to my day: roll out of bed, take Zida outside, feed Zida, begin to get myself ready for the day (eat or shower, etc.)…

Yesterday, I awoke feeling less than rested and maybe even a little cranky, but when I stepped outside with my happy puppy in tow, I saw this…

October sunrise 2013

and a huge smile immediately found its way to my face.

I took a deep breath and thanked God for another day – another beautiful day – to live.

I’d encourage you to do the same.  Maybe that’s a little easier today, since it’s Friday and all ;) but it was just the reminder I needed – every day is a gift.

Have a wonderful weekend, friends.

Beautiful! The sunsets having be absolutely gorgeous in my neck of the woods these past few days. Pinks, oranges and purples. Truly amazing! Have a great weekend Danica!

Whenever I see a beautiful sunrise that God has painted I smile big and say thank you – it really does make an awesome way to start the day… I really need to remember to do it on the gloomy days too :)

I saw this out my window and thought the exact same thing! We really neglect to be thankful for the little things in life, but those are what mean the most!

My mood is definitely not being helped by the rainy weather outside, but I would definitely get an instant mood boost from that sunrise!

It’s seriously hard not to smile after seeing something like that. The Big Guy has some serious skill with a paint brush :)

Happy Friday, lady!

Absolutely breathtaking. Whenever I feel stressed or bogged down I try to get outside and be with nature. It is the easiest and quickest way for me to refocus on what is important.

Have a great weekend beautiful!

Tim Boyle (I Run For Michael) just said something similar today (or was it yesterday). He was thankful to wake up, stretch, take a deep breath, because he knows not everyone can.
I’ve been thinking about your dog recently! I’m really wanting a running partner!
