from the weekend: M and Q’s wedding!

by Danica on June 3, 2013

Our weekend was primarily spent celebrating my cousin’s wedding…we took over 500 pictures so it was hard to choose just a few…

the head table ready for Saturday night!

So my hair appt. on Saturday morning wasn’t the greatest of experiences – I was planning to go with the second option, but since it was pretty cool out, I knew I’d be *that* much colder without my hair over my neck, so I decided to go with the first option.  When she first did it, she turned me around when once side was done and it did not look good.  I politely told her what I thought and, long story short, this is how my hair ended up ;)
I loved the back of it, and though I wasn’t crazy about the front, it worked for the day!

Your hair looks great :) I like the sparkler exit! Your family pics are adorable…looks like a fun weekend. And your camera seems to be taking excellent pictures!

The camera is so nice…I just want to photograph everything!! :)

I like the back of your hair! That’s the bad part about getting hair done, though. I wasn’t thrilled with my hair when I was bridesmaid, two different times, so I think that the next time I am (next summer), I’ll just save the money and do my own hair!

I think you’re absolutely right! I should do my own next time…those trips are expensive when you don’t love it!

This is the second sparkler exit I’ve seen on a post in the last two week! Is that a new thing? It looks really pretty! My weekend was relatively low-key, but my allergies have turned into a sinus infection, which has turned into a chest infection, but I’m not letting it get me down! I managed to run 4 miles today, but it felt like I was breathing through a straw with this chest get up!

I love the short dresses with cowgirl boots combination. Gorgeous!

Make sure you rest! Hope you feel better…that infection sounds like no fun :(

Apparently it’s becoming a pretty popular thing to do….we were a little unsure of whether it would really work. It was really smokey but was awesome for the minute they ran out and left! :)

I was in a wedding this weekend too :)

Thank you!
I honestly wasn’t so sure about the whole cowboy boots with a dress thing, but once we were all together dressed that way it was actually pretty cute :)

You hair looks great! I’m glad you were honest with the stylist- I used to never speak up when I wasn’t 100% satisfied with customer service, but now I do (in an extremely polite manner!!) because I realized that if I were the person rendering the service, I would want the feedback, especially if it in in a situation when I could try and remedy it immediately.

I’m the exact same way now!! I never used to say anything, but I will now, just in a polite way. I think it’s when people are rude about things that it gets unappreciated on both parties.

Aw…you found some boots to wear! I remembered a couple weeks ago that you were going to borrow mine but I never sent them home with my mom! oops. Looks like you had a great time. I loved your hair and I think it looked great front & back! I also like seeing the cake picture since I’m always looking for new cake ideas :) I went on a “luxury” river retreat with my friends…hopefully I’ll blog about it soon!

They had a very strong rustic theme, and they love dairy farming…the cake was very fitting :)
That retreat sounds fantastic!
