WIAW #20: Eating Schedule?

Already my 20th What I Ate Wednesday…

The following food journal is from Monday, April 9th and since I had the day off, my eating “schedule” was all a little screwy.  I just went with the flow though!

There’s no surprise here: A bowl of oats!
**I promise I really do eat other things for breakfast some days…
In the mix:
-1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
-1 cup water
-1 tablespoon organic ground flaxseed
-about 1 tablespoon organic peanut butter
-about 1/8 cup organic raisins

plus 2 organic kiwi!


This was a weird and completely random lunch…one of those days where a bunch of things sounded good and there were leftovers that needed to be eaten up…one of those days where as I look back on it now the combination makes me nauseous.  So what did that bring me to?

an organic egg,

half a tilapia filet topped with organic tomatoes and artichokes

and this messy piece of deliciousness..
Into the toaster oven went:
-1 whole-wheat La Tortilla Factory tortilla
pesto (about 1/8 cup)
-one sliced up greenhouse tomato
-1 peeled organic light string cheese

then I had 2 mini Mr. Goodbars from my Easter eggs

afternoon snack: 

a delicious smoothie made by combining:
-2 overflowing cups of organic spinach leaves
-1 cup organic frozen berry blend
-1 cup Trop50 no pulp orange juice
-a splash of cranberry juice

and a So Delicious coconut milk raspberry yogurt with Nature’s Path organic granola on top
(LOVE this yogurt–it’s dairy free!)


homemade sloppy joe’s on a toasted slice of whole-wheat bread

homemade sweet potato fries with organic ketchup

plus one square of organic dark chocolate (it’s back!)

Total glasses of water throughout the day: 8

Do you usually eat at the same times each day or just go with whatever you feel like each day?!

I typically eat at the same times–Monday was definitely an exception
